Built on Trust, Driven by Purpose

Founded in 2016 in Coimbatore, Dhanam Investment and Finance Pvt. Ltd. was born from a vision to bring formal financial services to underserved communities. Starting with microfinance and MFI lending, we recognized the potential to serve rural farmers, small business owners, and working families who faced barriers to accessing credit from traditional banking systems.

Over the years, we've expanded from microfinance into gold loans, mortgage lending, and SME finance — and in 2026, we're launching Premium Private Lockers, offering secure, state-of-the-art vault storage for valuables.

The name "Dhanam" holds deep meaning, derived from Sanskrit and Tamil words meaning "wealth." But for us, true wealth isn't just about money — it's about empowering communities, enabling dreams, and fostering progress.

From One Branch to Fifty-Seven

We started with microfinance and MFI lending, serving rural farmers and entrepreneurs. In 2024, we launched Loan Against Property (LAP/mortgage) services, in 2025 we expanded into gold loans, and in 2026 we're introducing Premium Private Lockers — bringing secure vault storage to our customers. Throughout this evolution, we've stayed true to our core mission: fair lending, transparent dealings, and accessible credit for all.

Today, a decade later, Dhanam stands as a testament to what's possible when trust meets innovation. We've served over 5,00,000 customers and disbursed more than ₹1000 crores — yet our founding principles remain unchanged.
